The earliest written account of surfing was in 1779 by Lt. James King in Kealakekua Bay at the Big Island of Hawaii.  Today the tradition of surfing has found a new home in San Diego County!  OEX is proud to be a part of the surfing culture and offers rental surfboards for any looking for a little fun in the sun!
